This service policy applies only to genuine 4FACT products purchased within South Korea.
For other countries or regions, please refer to the local service policy.
Notice: Only products purchased through 4FACT’s official sales channels are covered under this policy.
(Products from unofficial distributors, second-hand transactions, group purchases, giveaways, or resellers are not eligible for warranty
service.)
II. Service Details
Free Warranty Service
- The warranty period for the main product (excluding consumables) is 1 year from the date of purchase.
Issues related to quality, performance, or function under normal use are eligible for free service.
- Consumables refer to components that naturally wear out or are prone to damage through normal use,
such as batteries, speakers,
microphones, and brackets.
These items have separate warranty terms.
- Consumable Warranty Periods
- Battery: Eligible for replacement if performance degradation exceeds 40% within 1 year of purchase.
- Speakers, microphones, and other non-main-unit components: 1 month from purchase.
- Initial Defects
If the main product shows defects within 1 month of purchase, it is considered an initial defect.
After inspection and confirmation by 4FACT, a replacement will be provided.
(Please note that the product may be opened during the inspection process.)
Shipping costs for initial defects are covered by 4FACT.
- After 1 Month From Purchase
Free warranty service continues for the remaining 11 months (repair or part replacement only; consumables excluded)
- Warranty periods are based on the purchase date; usage time or frequency cannot be used as verification.
- Handwritten receipts are not accepted due to the possibility of forgery.
- If a product cannot be repaired or replaced due to discontinuation, a product of equivalent class—or a higher-grade product designated by
4FACT—will be provided.
- After the first month from purchase, round-trip shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- Loaner devices or replacement units during repair are not provided.
* 4FACT is not responsible for any loss or inconvenience during the repair period.
- If the same issue reoccurs within the warranty period and within 1 month of the previous repair, shipping costs are covered by 4FACT
* A 3-month warranty applies for the identical issues after repair.
Paid Service (Out-of-Warranty)
- Paid service applies in the following cases:
No proof of purchase
More than 1 year has passed since purchase
Minor damage due to user negligence
Damage resulting from regular wear and tear
If proof of purchase cannot be provided, the product's manufacturing date determines warranty eligibility
If discontinued models cannot be repaired, they may be exchanged for a refurbished product designated by 4FACT.
Refurbished replacements include a 6-month warranty.
If the same issue reoccurs within 1 month after a paid repair, 4FACT will cover return shipping.
A 3-month warranty applies for identical issues.
